Bridgewater Breadsticks

If you are a fan of Papa Gino's breadsticks you will love these. These are the perfect addition to bar pizza night and use the same homemade bar pizza dough from this recipe. Made in a traditional 1x10 bar pizza pan these breadsticks are super easy to make and only take eight minutes to cook.

If this is your first time making Bar Pizza or Breadsticks there are some kitchen tools you are going to need. Here is a convenient list with Amazon links.

Bar Pizza Pan - I'm sure these breadsticks will work in other types of pans but if you're making bar pizzas you'll have these out anyway. Some of the pictures show my Deep Dish 10x2 pan..

Description

Cheesy garlic breadsticks made in a bar pizza pan.  Very similar to Papa Ginos breadsticks 

What you'll need
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan Cheese (Use the good kind from the deli, not the green can on the shelf)
  • 1 cup Shreded Low Moisture Mozzarella (Do not use pre shredded cheese, you have to shred the blocks yourself. The coating on preshredded cheese will burn)
  • 8 oz Bar Pizza Dough
Instructions
  1. Putting it all together

    Using the South Shore Bar Pizza Dough recipe found here, start spreading out an 8oz dough ball into you bar pizza pan.  

    Let the dough rest in pan for about 15 minutes then finish streching to edge of pan 

  2. Butter

    Spread melted butter onto the dough 

  3. Spices

    Combine all of your spices together in a bowl.  Spread out evenly on the dough.  I use my fingers to do this.

  4. Laced Edges

    Spread cheddar cheese around the edge of pan

  5. Parmesan and Mozzarella

    Spread shredded mozzarella and parmesan all over the top

  6. Oregano

    Sprinkle a few pinches of oregano on top 

  7. Bake

    Bake at 500 for about 8 minutes 

  8. Eat!bridgewater breadsticks on plate laced

    Cut them up and enjoy!  Dip in your favorite pizza sauce
